Seettu circles

Track fixed and bidding seettu contributions, turns, auctions, payouts, and reminders.

Salli models the two common seettu patterns directly rather than forcing them into ordinary recurring expenses.

Fixed seettu​

Everyone pays the same contribution on a weekly or monthly schedule. The full pot rotates in a known order. Enter:

  • circle name;
  • contribution;
  • frequency;
  • number of members;
  • your payout position; and
  • optional organizer commission.

Salli derives the pot and full schedule.

Bidding seettu​

Each cycle has an auction. The highest bid wins and receives the pot minus the winning bid. Contributions may fall after the discount.

For each auction, record:

  • winning bid;
  • winner;
  • optional commission; and
  • the actual per-member contribution.

Salli suggests a contribution from the recorded bid, but the saved value stays editable because group conventions differ.

Track progress​

The list and detail screens show:

  • fixed or bidding type;
  • next auction, contribution, or payout;
  • days until the event;
  • paid/unpaid schedule;
  • winner and bid history;
  • total contributed and received; and
  • current net position.

Safe to Spend​

Unpaid contributions before payday reserve money. A bidding cycle uses the base contribution as a conservative estimate until its auction is recorded, then applies the actual amount.

Reminders​

Enable seettu reminders in More → Settings → Reminders. Private preview is the default and hides circle name and amount on the lock screen.
