Reports and periods

Use monthly review, custom date ranges, calendar reporting, and account/category drill-downs.

Salli offers both payday-cycle analysis and calendar reports because they answer different questions.

Payday cycle​

Use Current cycle for affordability, budgets, and the period between one payday and the next. The cycle respects the chosen payday and short months.

Calendar month​

Open the calendar icon in Insights for Monthly review. Move between months to compare:

  • income;
  • spending;
  • net cash flow;
  • category composition;
  • cash-flow timeline; and
  • category movement from the previous month.

Custom range​

Choose Custom in a period picker, select exact inclusive start and end dates, and apply. Activity and Insights resolve the same date window.

Other built-in periods​

  • This week
  • This month
  • This year
  • Last 30 days
  • All time

An unbounded period such as All time may not offer a previous matching window.

Drill-down​

Tap category, account, chart month, period comparison, budget evidence, or label activity to open the matching transaction set. Search and additional filters remain available.

Export​

CSV export contains confirmed transaction-ledger fields suitable for a spreadsheet. It excludes raw SMS bodies. JSON backup is the complete Salli-to-Salli portability format and includes additional local evidence and configuration.
